Women & girls study at Library

news3.jpg

The purpose of this activity was to encourage the school dropout girls and women who had lost their jobs in the public sector to improve their intellectual capacities. Some of the books were selected to improve the inter-personal skills of the readers and enhance their confidence to undertake the outdoor role in a controlling and self-reliable position. The available library services were advocated through the community awareness sessions, special WGSS service awareness sessions organized for WGSS visitors as well as women and girls targeted through the livelihood and Dignity kits distribution activities. The women and girls registered for case management and case referral services were also encouraged to take advantage of the established library. The library was open for all the WGSS female visitors.
